In 2023 we Launched Shiny Car Stuff wipe on clear coat selling over 500,000 bottles since. This article is intended to explain the different application process and uses for each product.
DC was designed specifically for mobile vendors. Key features include being weather proof. A weather proof wipe on clear coat allows mobile vendors to continue operation in rain, snow, extreme heat and extreme cold.
Diamond Clear MUST be leveled. Diamond clear is applied in a thick even coating. You must wait for the coating to become slightly tacky and then take a clean Micro fiber towel and gently level the application area. Until you are left with a thick perfectly reflective layer.
The most common mistake is leveling with too much pressure or before the coating has had time to properly tack up. This essentially removes the product from the panel or leaves a very thin coating with will not last nearly as long as a thick coating.
